Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are a reputed CA consulting firm based in Dubai, looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Consultant to assist with VAT compliance and advisory engagements. The ideal candidate will be a Semi-qualified CA or ACCA (part-qualified or affiliate) with 1–2 years of UAE VAT experience, and a passion for developing their tax expertise in a dynamic client-facing environment.

VAT Compliance & Advisory

  • Prepare and file VAT returns for multiple clients across industries.
  • Assist with VAT audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
  • Support in providing VAT advisory on transactions and structuring.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with FTA requirements.
  • Keep up to date with changes in UAE VAT regulations.

Client Coordination

  • Communicate with clients regarding VAT documentation, deadlines, and queries.
  • Ensure timely collection of data and submission of returns.

Team Support

  • Collaborate with senior consultants and managers on VAT assignments.
  • Assist in training junior team members and interns as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on UAE VAT experience (mandatory).
  • Qualification: Semi-qualified CA / ACCA (affiliate or part-qualified).
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT Law and FTA guidelines.
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and client-interfacing skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days will be preferred.
