Job Title: Team Leader
Department: Housekeeping – Operations

Job Purpose:
Assist the Housekeeping Team Supervisor in ensuring proper cleaning and sanitizing of client premises, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage cleaning schedules for hygiene staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and airline customer standards.
• Monitor staff adherence to cleaning procedures and chemical safety.
• Maintain and order cleaning materials, ensuring equipment cleanliness and serviceability.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on cleaning processes and equipment usage.
• Ensure pest control and relevant safety practices are in place.
• Conduct internal/external audits based on HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Handle and store chemicals as per supplier instructions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and other departments.
• Plan shift workload efficiently, including unscheduled tasks.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for cleaning activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years' experience in cleaning or stewarding (hotel, restaurant, or catering environment).
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
• Minimum secondary education.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
