The Team Leader – Pre-Tender Design will be responsible for managing and delivering design concepts, technical proposals, and preliminary engineering solutions for façade projects during the pre-tender stage. This role requires close coordination with estimation, business development, and client teams to ensure competitive, technically sound, and compliant submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre-tender façade design process, ensuring designs are aligned with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Prepare conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and preliminary engineering calculations to support tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the Estimation team to provide accurate inputs for costing, material selection, and constructability.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify design risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Business Development, Estimation, Projects)and external teams for timely and complete tender submissions.
• Develop design methodologies, technical notes, and compliance matrices for tender presentations.
• Guide and mentor junior designers, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in all pre-tender outputs.
• Maintain awareness of new materials, systems, and innovations in façade engineering to incorporate into design solutions.
• Liaise with external consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors for technical clarifications when required.
