Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for efficiently managing Fixed Assets & Projects team and activities associated with the addition/retirement of Fixed Assets, project capitalization, prepaid reconciliation and recovery from international locations. Ensuring accuracy of the entire process, support to international locations in implementing the Oracle Fusion.
Responsible for preparation of MIS for Fixed Assets & Projects, closure of all Audit Points, reconciliation of B/S accounts and initiating & implementing all the process improvement ideas
Generic Accountability
- Ensure that work activities are in line with Bank s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP s).
- Fixed Assets Management
- Project Accounting
- Prepaid Accounting/Reconciliation

- Coordination with Internal & External stakeholders

- Contribute to continuous Process improvement
- Any other activities as assigned by the Supervisor
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Supervise the Fixed Asset function & Project Accounting function
- Maintain the Project status with WIP details for monthly review
- Maintain Projects & CIP Asset details for tracking and capitalization.
- Tracking of Project spends against Budget.
- Follow-up with PMO/Project manager to ensure accuracy and timely closure of projects.
- MIS - Tracking of Expenses, assist in preparing the Budget etc
- Supervise Proofing and Reconciliation of General Ledger account
Job Context
- Ensure SOP/Policies are renewed before due date.
- Month end closing of books (Payables, Fixed Assets & Projects)
- Ensure Monthly Asset Addition are completed on time.
- Ensure Monthly depreciation is run for all capitalized assets.
- Ensure prepaid invoices are amortized monthly and reconciled.
- Monthly Project GL reconciliation, depreciation forecast for completed projects.
- Ensure Projects are capitalized on time.
- Ensure monthly resource capitalization entries are posted.
- Update capitalized/expensed projects and resource capitalization in clarity
- Providing LOB-wise details of capitalized project with Group Finance for Budget Adjustment.
- Review and ensure aged transaction are cleared (AOV).
- Perform UAT as and when assigned
Ensure AOV is submitted on/before the due date
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related discipline.
Exposure to Fixed Assets, Project, Payables and GL modules in Oracle Fusion preferred.
Advanced user of MS Office especially Excel
Good communication skills.
Strong analytical skills
Minimum Experience
7 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Fixed Assets function.
