Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct all inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of all goods.
- Manage a team of receiving associates, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain a meticulously organized and safe receiving area, adhering to all company safety protocols and inventory management best practices.
- Collaborate with inventory control and warehouse management to ensure seamless flow of goods from receiving to storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to damaged goods, incorrect quantities, or delivery exceptions promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve performance targets.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant inventory software.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, receiving procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to react quickly to operational challenges.
