Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure shelves are properly stocked, products are neatly displayed, and pricing tags are accurate.
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, identifying low stock items, and informing the line manager when replenishment is needed.
- Regularly checking and monitoring the near-expiry products on the shelves.
- Ensure to follow the FIFO procedure to reduce write-off and product spoilage.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, processing credit card payments, and issuing receipts accurately.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Process customer returns and exchanges according to the store policies.
- Flexibility in working 12 hours a day and at the assign location.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Follow store policies and procedures regarding opening and closing duties, security measures, and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and offer support to the team to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restrooms and common areas.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or Graduate degree in any field
- 1-2 years' experience in Retail (preferred in the supermarket) Business
- Knowledge of store processes in Supermarket business
- Customer service orientation
- Attention to details and ability to multitask
- Able to work under pressure
- English language speaking skills
- Availability to work flexible hours
