Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals, repair guides, and training materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity for automotive technicians.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly documentation.
- Develop and implement documentation standards and processes to ensure consistency and quality across all technical publications.
- Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of technical documents, incorporating feedback and updates from subject matter experts and end-users.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as technical communication, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical documentation within the automotive industry.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Proficient in using documentation software and tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, and content management systems.
