Plan and deliver all technical aspects of the projects, work with relevant parties to assist in forming a design strategy, review the list of deliverables and ensure compliance with the contract and project requirements

Provide direction and technical solutions with construction standards / contractual specifications/buildability requirements / regulatory framework

Review Contract specifications and drawings, raise concerns if any

Study the scope of works and guide the Operations team

Review drawings and material submissions prior to the submission

Ensure material submittals are submitted on time with right materials

Ensure the drawings submitted are of correct specifications and standards

Lead and monitor the Cad team to create accurate technical drawings as per project specification

Liaise with Project Managers, manage schedule of CAD work at projects and reassign duties of CAD Team as appropriate

Ensure the approved shop drawings are in place for the Projects in progress

Ensure the shop drawings are reviewed and approved by PM and Engineers

Review the Program of works with PM and Engineers

Escalate noncompliance, deviation from work, material delays to the OM

Coordinate with Managers both Civil and MEP to get relevant information as and when required

Guide the Operation team to reduce waste and minimise cost through correct design, right materials, timely approvals, correct procedure/techniques etc.

Take the lead in driving a culture of continues improvement within the Design team

Ensure the technical training is provided to the team on performance gaps and technical aspects

Provide feedback to OM and on technical reviews of Engineers and PMs
