JD - Technical Procurement Engineer
Department: Procurement
Report to: Head of Business Development
Job Purpose:
To be directly involved and responsible for project cost estimation & procurement requirements, including acquiring and negotiating prices from 3rd party vendors / subcontractors and conducting thorough techno-commercial reviews.
Responsibilities:
• To identity & initiate contact with vendors and service providers as per scope handed over by bidding team.
• To review techno-commercial submissions from vendors / sub-contractors / service providers.
• To prepare complex bid evaluations for bidding team / management review.
• To initiate and be fully responsible for entire TQ & CQ process with vendors / sub-contractors / service providers.
• To identify and select best T&Cs and logistics/delivery terms for each assigned package.
• To negotiate prices & delivery schedules for cost optimizations.
• To maintain purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
• To prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• To execute and monitor all regular purchasing duties.
• To coordinate with departments and suppliers for procurement activities.
• To coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• To monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items from suppliers to ensure that all the correct items are delivered to site/store on time; and follow up with suppliers on any irregularities reported by end user.
• To prepare reports and summarize data including purchase history.
• To conduct yearly supplier evaluation in line with company’s ISO requirements.
• To show consideration of the department’s requirements for flexible working hours when working demands arise.
• To perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in Procurement – Automation / Control / Safety / Electrical
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A self-motivator with the ability to work independently and within timeline; resilient to challenges; attention to detail.
• Must be available to join immediately
Additional Skills: Cultural awareness skills, ability work under pressure in meeting deadlines
Age: 26 – 35 years
Hiring Status: Preferably Single
Type of contract: Unlimited
Location:
Working hours: Sunday to Thursday – 8 AM TO 5 PM
However based on the position the employee is expected to be flexible and work extended hours when necessary.
Probation period: 6 months
Estimated Salary Package: Dhs. 14000/15000
The proposed package will be based on the background and experience of the applicant / Negotiable based on final interview outcome

Desired Candidate Profile

Duties & Responsibilities
 To supervise and head all the properties
 Responsible for sorting through the prospective tenant applications to find the tenant who is the best fit for
the property.
 Conduct Market Survey and submit proposal for Business Development opportunities
 Analyze information on property values, population growth, and traffic volume and patterns in order to
determine if properties should be acquired.
 Negotiate the sale, lease, or development of property, and complete / review appropriate documents and
forms
 Responsible for preparing / upgrading documents such as lease and rental agreements, cost estimates and
annual reports
 Determine and certify the eligibility of prospective tenants, following government regulations.
 Responsible for dealing with evictions in a proper way – when a tenant does not pay rent or otherwise
breaches the terms of a lease
 Prepare Monthly property wise Income Report and review the Expenditure Report
 Review rents at all the respective locations to ensure that they are in line with rental markets.
 Responsible for dealing and visiting RERA / Municipality / any Government entities as and when required
 Supervision of the Sub-Contractors service providers and ensuring the SOPs are followed
 Aging Analysis Report to be submitted to the Chairman with explanation on the vacant properties. This is
advised to be done every fortnight
 Preparing and review the lease documents & follow up for outstanding if any
 Frequently coordinate / share the list of Vacant Properties / Maintenance Issues / Leasing updates with the
Facilities Officer
 Recommending / Implementing Property improvement plans required to bring the properties to a high
standard
