Job description
• Responsible for maintaining a record keeping system that will always conform to Civil Aviation Regulations e.g. ANTR Part M, GACAR Part 43, Part 121, etc
• Responsible for recording the TRAX Computer System, maintenance actions performed on each engine and aircraft. Also, responsible for ensuring that all related logbooks and other technical records entries are made and signed by appropriate and authorized persons
• When necessary, produce historical and service reports of each part tracked by TRAX system and documentary evidence by way of serviceable tags to show removal / installation on an aircraft
• Responsible to ensure that upon completion of inspection and maintenance of aircraft, engine and components the maintenance, technical logs (including electronic technical log) and work packages is collected, collated and checked for completeness
• Responsible to ensure adequate archiving all completed aircraft & engine technical records in an approved manner using Stream software.
• Responsible for daily publication of fleet up-to-date status including the forecast for the next due inspection, remaining time and type of inspection
• Responsible for recording compliance of airworthiness directive, service bulletins and alert service bulletins pertaining to aircraft, engine, propeller and components. Also, responsible to ensure that upon completion of these directives proper logbook and /or records entries are made and signed by company authorized person/s
• Liaise with the Quality Department as appropriate to ensure that all the regulatory requirements are met.
• Responsible to complete the required paperwork and submit to regulatory authorities for aircraft certificates of registration and airworthiness renewals
• User functional testing & managing airline technical applications - TRAX / eTL / STREAM
• Review and management of aircraft historical records during aircraft induction, during term of lease and redelivery.
• Will produce monthly reports as required by the Aircraft & Engine Lease requirements.
• Produce reports & manage records for rotable PBH & CFR contracts
• Responsible for entering Department leave on the HRIS system
• Liaise with support services for the TRAX maintenance program to ensure system accuracy
Minimum requirements
• Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance records experience
• Engineering degree or ICAO Type II License
• Familiarity with General Office Procedures
• Computer literate
• Experience with ERP Tools like TRAX, STREAM
