Functions
• Lead and define the value stream proposition, positioning of the company's portfolio and sales strategy, for the Petrochemical and Cement industries in the region
• Develop, equip and support the Middle East commercial team with regards to Petrochemicals and Cement Industry processes and needs understanding.
• Develop and nurture relationship with critical technical and decision influencers in segment customers organization, installers as well as OEMs and contractors.
• Pursue and close sales opportunities in the region for the targeted industries, as part of his/her own customer account portfolio or in support to other account managers.
• Develop detailed technical offers including material selection, heat calculations, BOM calculations.
• Coordinate proactively with Global Segment (or European counterparts) and Project teams for maximum efficiency in seizing project opportunities.
• Propose good alternatives of competitors materials in consultation with global technical experts (Purchasing, Quality, Science and Technology).
Requirements
• Graduate/Post graduate in Ceramic Engineering/Material Sciences
• 10-15 years of experience in technical sales to petrochemicals (preferred) and/or cement industry.
• Detailed knowledge of refractory products usage, inspection, testing, repair or installation techniques in at least one of these industry segments is required.
• Good experience of supervision and project execution in these two industry segments is a plus.
• API Certification for refractories is a strong asset.
