Role purpose
Develop strategic relationship with distributor, growers, plant raisers, trader and retailers.
Accelerate product introduction, promotion and demand creation for both new and existing VEG SE varieties in order to boost the sales.
Organize Demo trials / follow up trials execution at grower level to create product awareness that best fit customer needs.
Support the work of the Sales & Marketing and CU teams by providing them with sufficient technical information on the product behavior.
Identify opportunities within assigned territories and incorporate into the growth and development of the company.
Generate customer demand for VEG seeds relevant to the assigned geography of responsibility to support the commercial team in achieving or exceeding their sales VEG SE targets.
Identifies customer needs and will identify resources to ensure successful outcome.
Ensure demo field trials are executed and visited by customers for pre-commercial and commercial varieties in alignment with campaign plans.
Provides feedback from Demo trials to the R&D trialing officer.
Oversee the performance of the pipeline with Trialing officers and the TER Product manager by regular visits.
Support new product launches, execute the campaigns by delivering the key messages and promo materials to customers.
Be the technical reference for the assigned VEG crops: provide technical support on varieties to customers and CU sales team Marketing operations (trial visits, presentation, and technical document).
Provide agronomic solutions & advice to the growers and prospects.
Collect market/competitor information (market intelligence) and information on varieties performance and provide them to Sales manager, Marketing operations and TER Product managers required for the commercial success.
Handle the technical side of the customer s complaints and resolved in a timely manner.
Key interfaces: Sales manager, KAM, TER PMs, Marketing operations, Trialing officers.
