Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor gate security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, ensuring smooth traffic flow and immediate response to security breaches.
- Conduct thorough vehicle and personnel inspections, utilizing advanced screening equipment and protocols to prevent unauthorized entry of prohibited items.
- Maintain detailed logs of all gate activity, including visitor entries, vehicle movements, and any security incidents, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, offering clear directions and assistance while upholding security protocols.
- Respond to security alarms and incidents promptly and effectively, coordinating with security personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of gate security equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues to maintain system functionality.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and educating visitors on relevant regulations.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement security measures, contributing to a safe and secure environment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security-related incidents and activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant certifications in security or related fields are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gate security or a related field, demonstrating practical experience.
- No Nationality preference.
- Proficiency in operating security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, is required.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for identifying potential security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with visitors and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, handling stressful situations effectively.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing routine tasks.
