Job Title: General Maintenance Technician Location: Dubai (for 3–6 months), then relocation to West Africa Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of all facilities, equipment, and systems. This role requires hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance, along with strong troubleshooting skills. The position will begin in Dubai for 3–6 months, followed by relocation to West Africa, where the technician will oversee maintenance operations and ensure consistent performance of all technical systems and infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and machinery to identify maintenance needs and potential issues • Perform minor repairs across plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical components, and general building maintenance • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and facilities remain in optimal working condition • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, placing orders as needed • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage for accurate tracking and reporting • Assist in setting up maintenance systems and processes at the new West Africa site • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies Skills • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Strong time management and organisational abilities Benefits • Employment visa provided • Health insurance coverage • Annual return air ticket to home country • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives and bonuses
