Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial sewing and embroidery machines, ensuring optimal performance for clients. They troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, provide technical support, and train clients on machine operation. Key requirements include 1–3 years of experience in garment machinery, technical knowledge of stitching equipment, and strong diagnostic skills.

  • Machine Installation & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and test industrial embroidery and sewing machines at client locations.

  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance (oiling, cleaning) and diagnose/repair mechanical or electrical faults in machinery.

  • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting assistance to clients over the phone or in person to minimize downtime.

  • Training: Instruct clients on the proper operation and maintenance of sewing and embroidery equipment.

  • Documentation: Maintain service logs, spare parts inventory, and work order records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience with industrial sewing/embroidery machines, often in a manufacturing or technical trading environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues (circuits, motors, tension systems).

  • Qualifications: A diploma or certificate in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related vocational trade is preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus), attention to detail, and customer service orientation.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces. Capable of lifting and carrying heavy machinery components.
