Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create 3D structural models using Tekla Structures with accurate detailing for fabrication and erection.
- Prepare GA drawings, shop drawings, assembly drawings, bolt lists, and material take-offs.
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings and convert them into detailed fabrication models.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, QC, and Site teams to ensure design accuracy and buildability.
- Manage revisions and implement design changes efficiently within project timelines.
- Support the engineering team during fabrication and site execution with technical clarifications.
- Maintain company standards, drawing templates, and detailing accuracy in line with international codes (AISC / BS / ASTM).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–6 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication & detailing.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures software (latest versions preferred).
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, connection detailing, and erection methodology.
- Experience with industrial sheds, warehouses, trusses, platforms, pipe racks, mezzanines, and handrails.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
