Job
Location
Located in the heart of Sharjah, the four
star Copthorne Hotel Sharjah is a striking landmark by Khalid Lagoon. The Hotel
is 5 mins away from Museums of Sharjah, Sharjah Aquarium, Al Majaz
Amphitheater, Al Jazeera Water Park and Expo Centre Sharjah. The 255 guest
rooms including the executive suites and Club Rooms are equipped with satellite TV, an electric kettle and an
en-suite bathroom. The suite includes a living room complete with a dining area
and a private spa bath. The Hotel features two luxurious restaurants; the
Lagoon and La Veranda as well as O2 Spa.
Key Job Responsibilities
• To ensure a strong product knowledge of hotel services and
facilities to provide an efficient service to hotel guests. Assist guest with
international calls and queries.
• To process incoming and outgoing calls accurately and
courteously using the telephone standards adhered to as laid out in the
telephone and company SOP. To have full knowledge and understanding of each
Department Heads position and their role to know who all members of staff are
within the hotel.
• To maintain a log of all wake up calls received and to ensure
that these are carried out promptly and in the correct manner as laid out in
the telephone SOP.
• To have full knowledge of the functions relating to the
Telephone Operator section in Opera.
• To be knowledgeable about daily functions and activity in the
hotel in order to deal effectively with guest queries.
• To monitor switchboard system if working and reports
non-functional equipment's.
• Familiarize with hotel promotions and theme nights, F&B
outlet timings.
• Emergency procedures, Bomb threats Emergency call button.
• To update and monitor CID system.

Chefs / F&B / Housekeeping / Front Desk

Desired Candidate Profile

*
Minimum
2 years of experience in similar role in a Hotel.
Degree/
Diploma in Hotel Management.
Fluent
in English language, both verbal and written.
Fluency
in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
Handling
telephone calls.
Knowledge
in CID System and opera.
Good
communication skills.
