Roles & Responsibilities
A Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for a company. This dynamic position involves reaching out to existing and potential customers via telephone to promote and sell products or services. A Telesales Executive must possess exceptional communication and persuasion skills, combined with a strong knowledge of the company s offerings to successfully close sales deals. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with different types of people, and is motivated by targets. Working as a Telesales Executive offers both challenges and rewards, including the satisfaction of meeting sales goals and the potential for earning bonuses and commissions based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Initiate calls to potential clients and existing customers to generate sales.
- Maintain a detailed database of customer contacts and interactions daily.
- Explain and promote products or services, showing their benefits clearly.
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets and performance metrics regularly.
- Handle objections and rejections with a positive and professional attitude.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify new potential sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to align on open strategies.
- Provide feedback to the team on customer needs and product updates regularly.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management within required timelines.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all company products and services to advise customers effectively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate information and resolving issues.
- Adapt communication techniques to suit different customer personalities and needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales/customer service role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to handle rejection and close sales with confidence and resilience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple calls efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software tools.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with high expectations.
