Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively contact potential clients via phone to generate leads and qualify prospects for insurance products, focusing on conversion rates and sales targets.
- Present and explain insurance policy features, benefits, and coverage options in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, tailoring the pitch to individual client needs.
- Assess client needs and financial situations to recommend suitable insurance plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Manage and maintain a detailed database of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up communications using CRM software to track progress and performance.
- Handle inbound inquiries, address customer concerns, and resolve issues related to insurance policies, providing excellent customer service to build trust and loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) by consistently closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in insurance regulations to maintain a competitive edge and provide accurate information.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, demonstrating a foundational understanding.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in telesales, preferably within the insurance industry, highlighting relevant industry expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, including the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making, showcasing key soft skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills, with the ability to handle objections and close sales effectively, highlighting key soft skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other sales-related tools, highlighting key technical skills.
