Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer, responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, operation, client witnessing, coordination, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute installation of electrical systems as per approved drawings and UAE authority requirements.
Conduct testing and commissioning of LV & MV electrical systems including switchgear, transformers and cables.
Perform pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, and system energization.
Manage operation and monitoring of electrical systems during commissioning and handover phases.
Prepare and submit commissioning plans, method statements, test reports, and handover documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely corrective actions.
Support maintenance activities and provide technical support post-commissioning.
Ensure full compliance with UAE codes, IEC, IEEE standards, and HSE requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
Open to all nationalities; candidates may apply from outside the UAE.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with HV/LV electrical systems up to 33kV.
In-depth knowledge of UAE electrical standards, authority regulations, and safety practices.
