Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site testing of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and protective relay systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Execute commissioning activities, such as functional testing and performance verification, to ensure newly installed systems operate correctly and meet design requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability for all testing and commissioning procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field to provide a strong technical foundation.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as NICET or equivalent, demonstrating competence and expertise in electrical testing and commissioning.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing and commissioning within the power generation or oil and gas industries.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using various testing equipment, including protective relay test sets, insulation resistance testers, and circuit breaker analyzers.
