Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution
  • Prepare annual budget data and present comparative analysis (last year vs budget vs projections)
  • Review actual vs budgeted costs quarterly and recommend corrective actions
  • Identify and onboard 3P manufacturers in response to trade barriers
  • Ensure legal, quality, and packaging compliance for 3P setups
  • Finalize agreements with SLAs and commercial terms
  • Monitor project timelines using Gantt charts and escalate critical paths
  • Manage transitions due to regulatory changes, relaunches, and NPDs
  • Ensure product quality meets internal standards
  • Liaise with marketing, finance, R&D, quality, and warehouse teams
Follow-Up & Coordination
  • Ensure finished goods availability as per dispatch schedules
  • Resolve/escalate issues faced by contract manufacturers
  • Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate product availability
Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate production output reports for Planning & S&OP
  • Review cost data for quarterly meetings and explain variances
  • Present reports and data to management at regular intervals
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Weekly dispatch adherence
  • Cost reduction of key ingredients
  • Timely and accurate reporting to management

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Graduation degree required; Engineering background preferred
Experience:

  • Prior experience with 3rd Party manufacturers in the FMCG industry
  • Exposure to private label production, preferably within the GCC region
  • Familiarity with retailers like Noon and Carrefour is a plus
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
