Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Process airline, train, and other travel ticket bookings efficiently and accurately for individual and group clients.
- Manage ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with company policies and airline regulations.
- Coordinate with travel consultants and clients to confirm itineraries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of tickets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline schedules, fare rules, and promotional offers to provide optimal travel solutions.
- Handle amendments and special requests, such as seat selection, meal preferences, and travel insurance.
- Liaise with airlines, GDS providers, and other travel partners to resolve ticketing issues and secure reservations.
- Ensure compliance with international travel regulations, visa requirements, and documentation standards.
- Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly ticketing reports for management review.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, complaints, and last-minute changes promptly.
- Support the implementation of new ticketing technologies and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 4 years experience in ticketing, reservations, or a related travel operations role.
- Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong understanding of airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and refund processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and partner interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle urgent requests.
- Familiarity with travel documentation, visa requirements, and international travel regulations.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during peak travel seasons.
