The brands vision for the region is to make it amongst the top three mechanical watch brands across the region in terms of

• ROI: ensure that each activity has a direct return on sales
The team s mission is to
• Ensure compliance with all brand s operations
• Ensure visibility of the brand (across all MarCom disciplines) is impeccable and within brand guidelines
• Increase communication activities for IWC in MEIA (Middle East, India & Africa) in the wholesale and retail networks with the aim to maximize brand exposure/visibility and build brand awareness and notoriety.
• Grow the brand s image (introduction of suitable advertising and editorial campaigns on/offline)
• Grow the brands qualitative turn-over (introduction of new business, reduction of share of corporate deals, grow the brand s internal retail business, grow the brand in value, ie increase average price, grow the local clientele database)
The Trade Marketing and VM Manager is responsible for defining and managing the Trade Marketing Strategy in line with the regional objectives, HQ guidelines and the defined budget all to maximise the brands exposure/visibility and build the brands image:
• Strategy: Development and implementation of regional Trade Marketing strategy, and annual calendar
• Trade Marketing: Manage Boutique and Shop-in-shop placement, buildings and their maintenance; develop animation activities for the Boutiques (Opening events, boutiques/SIS activations, boutiques/SIS animations). Maintain brand guidelines and image across all POS.
• Visual Merchandising: Supervise VM implementation in all SIS and BTQ
• Local Activation: Develop local, relevant and integrated activation plans for each market and execute throughout the year hand in hand with HQ and local communications team
• Presentations: Prepare presentations on a regular basis for specific projects, IWC executive management or the Business Plans
• Budget: Control and optimize Capex Budget, A&P and T&E
• Supplier/Partner Management: Manage and build strong relationships with agencies and partners, update contracts and follow up payments and execution of works
• Strategy and Management
• Region: Define and implement regional Trade/Retail/Consumer Marketing/VM projects
• Countries: Define and implement country specific marketing & VM plans (GCC, India, Africa & Levant)
• Communication with HQ: Manage communication with HQ with regards to daily business but specifically implement new BTQ and SIS, exhibitions, delivery of order forms and communication with architects
• Team: Manage 1 Visual merchandiser and develop direct reports
• Budget: Manage and control budgets (CAPEX & Trade/VM budgets)
• Trade Marketing
• Region: Manage and oversee implementation/fit out of Boutiques across the region
• Countries: Manage and oversee implementation/fit out of SIS
• Internal & External Boutiques: manage, monitor works by contractors and architects
• Internal Boutiques: Manage and oversee maintenance of internal Boutiques and replenishment of collaterals
• Exhibitions: Manage and ensure the delivery of local trade exhibitions: production, follow up and implementations, as per the brand s standards and guidelines
• CRM activations: Set up and implement boutique marketing activations with Retail Department to improve sales results (in-store activations, events and product launches boutique activations)
Create and implement VIC mailing calendar with Retail manager
Create VM opportunities during the year in internal boutiques (i.e: Launch tower for EID, XMAS+ stickers)
• Manage the VM display and trade execution of local events
• BTQ and POS maintenance: implement yearly contracts with all the relevant suppliers to maintain internal boutiques perfection. Refurbishment and upgrading internal and external network. Regular visit and update from POS to maintain perfect brand visibility
• Visual Merchandising
• Region: Manage and oversee implementation/animation of POS/Boutiques according to regional wave plan is well implemented
• Make sure HQ guidelines are respected
• Manage and monitor VM implementation by team including orders of VM items and PLV stock management for new Boutiques, Point of Sales
• Define, implement, and monitor the corporate VM guidelines and yearly strategy
• Logistic and warehouse : manage stock and storage
• Control VM Budget and follow up
• Reporting and training
• Manage and implement reporting for Trade Marketing (new openings), VM (quarterly reports & HQ needs)
• Manage and implement a detailed training calendar for specifically VM across the region and on a regular basis
• Ensure implementation and training across the distribution network (order forms)
• Reporting on data and industry trends relating to trade categories.
• Years of experience: 5 to 7
• Has worked with a luxury brand before
• Skill set: can read architecture plans; proficient in Excel and Power Point
• Has built boutiques in the UAE and the region preferably
• Will speak to different kind of suppliers: malls, fit out companies; will be on the ground supervising the work done for POS build ups. Strong relationship management
• Very good organizational skills and project management
• Pro-active, strong follow up skills
• Needs to be factual and precise and meticulous
