Responsible for the coordination and implementation of Officine Panerai s Trade Marketing strategy in line with the regional objectives, HQ guidelines and the defined budget, with the aim of maximizing the brand s exposure/visibility at the Points of Sale and build the brand s image in the specified territories (Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa).
• Adaptation of the global Trade Marketing strategy into local and implementation of the annual regional calendar
Trade Marketing:
• Manage Boutiques and Shop-in-shop placements, buildings and their maintenance
• Manage boutique, SIS projects, architect in charge, maintenance contractor and liaise with store planning department in Panerai HQ.
• Create merchandising mapping for retailer and boutiques, ensuring all Panerai doors are merchandised as per brand guidelines.
• BTQ and POS maintenance - Develop a Refurbishment and internal & external retail-network upgrade plan.
• Visit Boutiques and POS regularly to maintain perfect brand visibility/experience.
• Maintain brand guidelines and image across all POS.
• Supplier/Partner Management: Manage and build strong relationships with agencies and partners, update contracts and follow up payments and execution of works
• Competition analysis, benchmarking & best practices
• NSI System Management:
• Pricing Updates
• Item Creation
• Transfers (Watches, VM, PLV etc)
Visual Merchandising:
• Supervise Regional VM implementation in all SIS and BTQs
• Elaboration and follow up of the animation plan per country
• Annual orders, follow-up with HQ and dispatch planning for publication, gifts and PLV
• Make sure boutiques, point of sales have all current available POS and print material in stock (Brochure, Limited Edition Book, give Away, welcome cards, trade catalogue, product signs )
• Implement displays in boutiques as per VM Calendar and planograms provided by VM Manager
• Conduct frequent boutique visits to check on display conditions and maintenance
• Adherence to display guidelines by boutique staff
• Conduct display reports after every visit and share with Head of Marketing and Communications
• Verify availability of POSM stock in boutiques
• Preparation of training materials for retail staff (working closely with commercial team).
• Control VM Budget and follow up
• Place orders and follow up on production of visibility tools
• Logistic and warehouse : manage stock and storage
• Competition analysis, benchmarking & best practices
• Local Activation: Implement local, relevant and integrated activation Plans/Calendars for each market and execute throughout the year hand in hand with HQ and local communications team
• Preparation of POS material/props/setup for events and exhibitions
Reporting and Training:
• Manage and implement reporting for Trade Marketing (existing POS and new openings), VM (quarterly reports & HQ needs)
• Manage and implement a detailed training calendar for specifically VM across the region and on a regular basis
• Ensure implementation and training across the distribution network (order forms)
• Reporting on data and industry trends relating to trade categories.
• Prepare reporting presentations on a regular basis for specific projects, at the demand of Brand management or the Business Plans
• Coordination with VM Agencies & dealers (Invoices, follow up on artwork & layouts)
• Follow up of trade budget and Marketing invoice process, follow up, vendor form creation, copy & transfer to finance department
• Control and optimize Capex Budget, A&P and T&E.
• Geographical area under responsibility: Middle East, India, Africa
• Number Point of Sales: 13 boutiques and 28 POS wholesale
• Education: Bachelor's degree of Marketing/Business Administration
• Required experience: 2 to 3 years marketing experience (in Luxury Business is favourable)
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Able to travel to all Middle East/GCC Countries and India.
