Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic plans tailored to traditional trade channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability to achieve targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or trade management, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market share growth in traditional trade environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and local languages preferred to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams, fostering motivation, and enhancing performance.
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior, with a keen understanding of the dynamics within traditional trade.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage customer relationships and analyze sales data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A results-oriented mindset, characterized by agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
