Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Responsible for developing, calibrating, and analyzing transport models to assess current and future traffic conditions. Supports planning and infrastructure projects by providing analytical insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and validate traffic simulation models using VISSIM, AIMSUN, SYNCHRO, SIDRA or similar software.
  • Analyze traffic data, travel demand, and performance indicators for various scenarios.
  • Evaluate project impacts and test design alternatives to improve network efficiency.
  • Support feasibility studies, master plans, and transport assessments with modelling outputs.
  • Coordinate with design and planning teams to align modelling results with engineering solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations for client review.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in traffic modelling and simulation tools (VISSIM, AIMSUN, SIDRA, Synchro, CUBE, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Familiarity with GIS, Excel, and transport data analysis methods.
  • Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities.
