Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager, supervises the daily operations of the Training Equipment Set (TES) in support of the Kuwait Base Operations & Security Support Services (K-BOSSS) contract. The TES Supervisor provides technical and operation guidance, and supervision to a multi-national Maintenance/Supply workforce and is responsible for the accountability and status of all Equipment assigned to the TES Operational Fleet. The TES Supervisor is charged with responsibility of tracking the operational readiness (OR) and availability of the assigned commodity equipment.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Conducts planning and scheduling of maintenance and Services for all equipment assigned to the TES. This may include Weapons, Wheeled Vehicles, Communication Equipment and various other types of Tactical Military Equipment.
Prepares personnel work schedules and monitors performance of subordinates.
Monitors fleet issues/turn-ins and ensures complete accountability of required and staged items sourced.
Hand receipt holder for tools, equipment and spare parts assigned to the TES.
Monitors work orders/production on all assigned equipment requiring corrective action.
Responsible for the tracking of equipment services, preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS), administrative services and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Ensures daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information.
Supervises physical/personnel security, supply and maintenance management operations as it pertains to assigned equipment.
Supervises the performance of sensitive/controlled items inventories.
Manages the standards of fleet Operational Readiness Reporting; ensures accuracy and timeliness for equipment readiness reporting.
Supervises and tracks recoverable items to ensure compliance with exchange pricing (EP)/recoverable items program.
Manages shop/benchstock) in accordance with applicable regulations.
Supervises personnel engaged in maintenance operations, vehicle recovery, and supply operations.
Supervises vehicle dispatching operations.
Determine the causes of equipment readiness deficiencies, take corrective action within their areas of responsibility, and provide feedback on systemic readiness problems.
Adheres to K-BOSSS Performance Work Statement and enforces standards within the work area.
Provides reports on safety, quality, supply and maintenance issues.
Performs routine inspections on internal sections.
Prepares and present/submit reports and briefings to management or for external agencies.
Oversees section driver’s training program.
Performs environmental control duties
Performs other duties as assigned.
