Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for oral and written translation (bidirectional translation between Chinese and foreign languages) at the project site to ensure smooth communication;

  2. Assist in daily communication between foreign technical personnel and the Chinese construction team, including but not limited to conference interpretation, project acceptance, on-site coordination, etc.;

  3. Cooperate with the project manager in handling international communication affairs, participating in external liaison and reception work;

  4. Record and organize certain project documents, such as files and relevant meeting minutes;

  5. Complete other tasks related to translation and project coordination assigned by superiors.


Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Language Proficiency: Fluent in Chinese and English (both listening, speaking, reading, and writing); proficiency in Urdu, Hindi, or Arabic is a plus. IELTS 6.5 or above / equivalent certification preferred; on-site construction interpretation experience is a plus.

  2. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or related fields.

  3. Work Experience: At least one year of interpretation experience in engineering, construction, or overseas projects; familiarity with construction terminology and on-site environments.

  4. Comprehensive Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability to construction site conditions.
