Roles and Responsibilities
-
Define the transport plan and select carriers, in cooperation with GSA team in air, ground, ocean and rail. Lead regular implementations and follow up on performances.

Handles EAGM level transportation and logistics escalations, informs management pro-actively about market trends, and consequences.

Play an important role keeping the cost as down as possible, understand when express, flash mode needed, approves after all evidence collected from requestor.

Strongly control LEC activities including spot bid awards in inbound and outbound, make suggestions for possible KL (keylane) setup if volume indicates.

Works together with freight payment leader keep the volume of unpaid invoices low, found the proper logistics evidence retroactively if needed.

Keep LS and LD factor up to date in cooperation with Global teams review on Quarterly bases.

Come up with lean and standardization ideas, and implement them within TOC, and within Europe logistics, or in relationship between Logistics and OTR.

Participate on the EMEA level organized QBR series with all air freight forwarders in every first month of Q, and take after the necessary corrective actions regarding EAGM

Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute logistics processes and strategy.

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
u>Required Qualifications/u>

This role requires advanced experience 3-5 years in Middle East, Africa, and RCIS Transport and Logistics.

Bachelor's degree is mandatory to have.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
