Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Advise clients on domestic and international travel options, including flights, visas, hotels, tours, and insurance

  2. Design and recommend travel itineraries based on client preferences, budget, and travel purpose

  3. Handle flight reservations, reissues, refunds, and cancellations using GDS systems

  4. Provide accurate information on fares, schedules, airline rules, and travel regulations

  5. Assist clients with visa requirements, documentation, and application procedures

  6. Quote competitive travel packages and follow up to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings

  7. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, suppliers, and consolidators for best rates and availability

  8. Ensure timely ticketing and issuance in compliance with airline and company policies

  9. Maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, and client communications

  10. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally

  11. Upsell and cross-sell travel products to maximize revenue

  12. Stay updated on airline promotions, fare changes, and travel advisories

  13. Comply with company procedures, financial controls, and reporting requirements

  14. Achieve individual and team sales targets

  15. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and corporate accounts

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a travel agency or tour operator

  2. Strong knowledge of air ticketing, fares, and airline rules

  3. Good understanding of visa procedures, especially UAE and international visas

  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  5. Customer-focused with strong sales and negotiation abilities

  6. Ability to handle multiple bookings and work under pressure

  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in bookings and documentation

  8. Good organizational and time-management skills

  9. Target-driven with a positive and proactive attitude

  10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  11. Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, airlines, and systems

  12. Knowledge of travel insurance, hotel bookings, and holiday packages is an advantage
