Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, and fluid levels, to prevent breakdowns on the road.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driving hours, and vehicle maintenance in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to weight limits to prevent damage and ensure safety.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in truck driving or logistics are a plus.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, demonstrating a commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving large trucks, with a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and state-specific transportation laws.
