Roles & Responsibilities
A truck mechanic inspects, diagnoses, and repairs heavy-duty vehicles, performing both routine maintenance and complex repairs on mechanical and electrical systems like engines, brakes, and transmissions. Key duties include using diagnostic tools, performing preventative maintenance, documenting work, and communicating with drivers and fleet managers. The role requires mechanical aptitude, physical strength, and strong problem-solving skills.

Mechanical and technical knowledge: Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, including diesel engines, air brakes, and electrical systems.
