Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, design, and supervision of tunneling operations
- Conduct site investigations and prepare technical reports
- Monitor tunnel excavation, support systems, and site progress
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors
- Identify and resolve design or operational challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- 3 5 years experience in tunneling or underground construction
- Familiarity with NATM, TBM, or microtunneling methods
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of ground stability, soil mechanics, and risk assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure or metro projects
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D / geotechnical design software
