Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, design, and supervision of tunneling operations
  • Conduct site investigations and prepare technical reports
  • Monitor tunnel excavation, support systems, and site progress
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors
  • Identify and resolve design or operational challenges

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
  • 3 5 years experience in tunneling or underground construction
  • Familiarity with NATM, TBM, or microtunneling methods
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of ground stability, soil mechanics, and risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master s in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure or metro projects
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D / geotechnical design software
