Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations and protecting the company's interests.
  • Provide legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, and employment law, offering practical and strategic advice.
  • Manage and oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes, collaborating with external counsel and representing the company's interests effectively.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis, staying abreast of changes in UAE legislation and case law to advise on potential impacts.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and minimizing legal risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must be a licensed lawyer.
  • Strong expertise in insurance legislation.
  • Extensive experience in drafting legal memoranda ( المذكرات القضائيه )

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university is essential.
  • Possession of a valid legal license to practice law in the UAE is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a legal role within the UAE, preferably within the specific industry.
  • Experience in the specific industry is highly desirable, offering specialized industry knowledge.
