Under general supervision, assists with the development and understanding of best practice, end to end processes for the Global Supply Chain function. Continually reviews and improves these processes as well as develops metrics to track adherence. Revises policies, guidelines and procedures that facilitate the effective execution of Supply Chain best practice. Working with the appropriate stakeholders, analyzes process and adherence deficiencies across regions and business units and develops and delivers the case for change to drive improvement. Serves as an advisor on questions of Policy, Procedure, and Guideline interpretation and application. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline and a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience.
Candidate must be proficient in Visual Basic Advanced, Visual Basic Scripting, advanced macros, and database management, Excel. Certification or other experience with Supply Chain or Supply Chain IT is preferred.
