Expand the market for the Citibank products through sourcing new customers/selling additional products to existing customers through designated channel ( Citi@Work , Smart Centers, CGAT team)
Citibank sales organization sources new customers and sells additional products to existing customers through a variety of channels. This role would be assigned to the appropriate channels based on the business requirement
Execution of sales plans through effective customer acquisition inside and outside of the Electronic Smart Branch Unit (ESBU)/Citi@work/Direct sales/CGAT channel etc.
Active identification of customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Provide a comprehensive, multi-product banking solution based on customer s needs egg bank accounts, credit cards, loans, insurance, and investments.
Provide thorough knowledge on current product offers and promotions.
Deepening customer relation through cross-sell of new products to existing customers
Using marketing tools to present product offer to existing and potential customers (sales wall, tablet, smart phone, workbench, etc.).
Participation in micromarketing activities (e.g. pro-active customer acquisition in the shopping mall, etc.)
Ensures Do's and Don ts per best practices be adhered at all times. Identifies any compromises on that front to controls manager immediately.
Educating customers on self-service capabilities and encouraging them to use alternative service channels for financial and non-financial transactions (CBOL, Citi Mobile, ATMs).
Providing current and potential customers with highest quality of service.
Ensuring compliance with internal audit s requirements, Bank s procedures, high quality standards, sales ethics and collective responsibility rules (to our clients, each other and the company).
Direct customer service in accordance with internal procedures and standards, including performing operations related to client accounts. Recognizing transactions needs of incoming customers and offloading them to alternative self-service channels
Keep an eye on the competition and provide timely feedback to key stakeholders/ decision markers
Sales Control and Governance Management
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Timely and comprehensive communication of any issues / potential threats to immediate supervisor.
Drive compliance and control initiatives. Ensure full adherence to all internal policies and procedures and external legal and regulatory requirements
End-end sales force management , Knowledge of best practices across the industry and globe
Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling Citibank products/acquiring customers
Should be E2 grade and above in case candidate is part of outsourced sales force
Possess good business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and is excellent at written/spoken communications
Track record of outstanding individual sales performance and/or overall business performance
Entrepreneurial, driven and passionate for sales
Bachelor Degree of equivalent
Arabic language skills are an advantage for this role
