Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and optimize trade marketing strategies, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans, including promotional campaigns and in-store activations, to drive sales and brand visibility across various retail channels.
  • Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align trade marketing activities with sales objectives, ensuring seamless execution and achieving targets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure smooth implementation of trade marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors, fostering collaboration and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and production of trade marketing materials, such as POS displays and promotional items, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock allocation for promotional activities, minimizing wastage and ensuring product availability.
  • Prepare regular reports on trade marketing performance, providing data-driven insights to stakeholders and informing strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in marketing principles.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry, showcasing practical expertise.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape in Dubai and the UAE market, including consumer behavior and retail dynamics.
  • Possesses strong analytical and data interpretation skills, enabling effective performance evaluation and strategic planning.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Displays strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring efficient execution of trade marketing activities and meeting deadlines.
  • A self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Holds relevant certifications in marketing or trade marketing, such as a Certified Marketing Professional (CMP), demonstrating commitment to professional development.
