Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

The User Support Officer provides first-level technical support, resolves user issues, and ensures smooth operation of IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop, hardware, software, and network support to end users.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents via ITSM systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to laptops, printers, applications, and connectivity.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding tasks such as account setup and device configuration.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams and follow up until closure.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely response to IT requests.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor s degree in IT or related field.
  • 1 3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CompTIA A+
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support
