Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Cooled Chiller Plant, Lifting Stations, Irrigation Pump System in accordance with all established regulations, standards and procedures.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:•
Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people ( child protection )•
Observes the operation of water pumps, electric motors, and chemical feed machines;
•Inspect the plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations. Conducts visual plant inspections and monitors plant operations/processes to ensure proper operations and to detect equipment failures, potential leaks, or other problem situations
•Assemble, install, test and maintain electric, electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and testers.
•Reads various charts, graphs, gauges, and meters
•Computes from readings and records the water volume pumped;
•Collects lab samples and performs standard analyses and tests as required; Perform pH, conductivity, totaldissolved solids, Silt Density index and related Reverse Osmosis process control tests every hour on the hour
•Keep an inventory of the consumables in the utility plants and inform Support Services Office of chemicals and other consumables that needs to be ordered.
•Establish preventative maintenance schedules
•Prepare activity and work order reports
•Recommend the purchase of equipment
