Role

• Provide cost estimation undertakings during feasibility and design stages.
• Forecast and prepare reports to provide insights into financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
• Carry out risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies to minimise financial exposure.
• Work collaboratively with project teams.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

Education
A bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related discipline.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 5 years experience in cost engineering or cost control, ideally within the construction or real estate sectors.
• Proven experience working on high-rise building projects (essential).
• Professional certification in cost engineering (e.g., CCP by AACE) or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
• Well-versed in cost management software such as CostX, Primavera Cost Manager, or comparable tools.
• Sound knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting processes, and financial analysis principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly for data analysis and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in professional-level English, both written and oral.
• Strong attention to detail.
