Roles & Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance of Wellhead X Mas Tree and Valves associated


  • Flush out the Valve body cavity and remove sludge and debris.
  • To perform High Pressure Greasing of X-Mas valves and tie-in valves using pneumatic pumps in accordance with the OEM and COMPANY specifications and recommendations.
  • To Service Bottom Hole Test Adapter (BHTA) and replace “O” ring
  • To operate (Open / Close) all valves that do not have provision for greasing.
  • To Service / grease / stroke all X-Mas tree valves.
  • To Pressure test the X-Mas Tree valves against the wellhead tubing pressure.
  • To inspect all pipe work mounting and supports, and report in case of any abnormality.
  • To clean / general housekeeping wellhead area around wellhead.
  • General Cleaning of X-Mas tree body with cleaning solvents through water jet pump.
  • Fill and submit the well head PM checklist/data sheet and a detailed report after each PM activity for respective wells.
  • Work as per the HSE norms of the Company

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Minimum 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Equivalent Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in the maintenance activities of Upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Candidates without diploma / degree but with relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Experience in Valves and X-Mas Tree Wellhead Maintenance is a mandatory requirement.
  • Shall have the expertise and skills to handle different types of Well Head X-Mas Tree valves, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of maintenance of Valves (API6A) and X Mas Tree equipment.
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license, meet all requirements of the company. (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
  • Must be able to converse in English.

Job Specific Details.


  • The job will be based in UAE and will be on a rotation basis.
  • The current rotation schedule is 3 months On site and 1 Month Off site. No rest days during On site period
  • UAE light vehicle driving license is mandatory for this job.
