Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Van Sales Executive specializing in the food trading industry, you will play an essential role in driving the sales of our diverse range of food products. You will manage relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. This involves understanding consumer preferences and market trends to effectively position our products. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products reach retail partners efficiently and maintaining a commitment to outstanding service. In this role, you will blend your sales expertise with excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new retail clients.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets set by the management on a monthly basis.
- Handle and deliver customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts regularly.
- Negotiate contracts and promotional agreements with retail partners effectively.
- Monitor stock levels and report any product issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Manage and optimize route planning to maximize sales opportunities daily.
- Provide feedback to management on customer requests and market demand trends.
- Attend training and other professional development activities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sales executive in the food trading industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are critical for success.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management software.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets consistently.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
