As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be at the forefront of automotive maintenance and repair, responsible for diagnosing and rectifying issues to ensure optimal vehicle performance. This role requires a deep understanding of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. You will operate diagnostic equipment and systematically dismantle and assemble parts, ensuring that all work is performed in adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. • Conduct detailed inspections to determine the condition and safety of vehicles.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify vehicle mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair and replace malfunctioning components including engines, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts utilized in maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and repair options.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently and safely.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous learning.
• Ensure workshop tools and equipment are in proper working condition and report any deficiencies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and vehicle turnaround times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies needed for vehicle repairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology preferred.
• Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic with excellent diagnostic skills.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics effectively.
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues to customers clearly.
• Valid driver s license and clean driving record essential for the role.
