Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests like blood work and imaging to accurately diagnose animal ailments.
- Prescribe and administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring for side effects.
- Perform surgical procedures, ranging from routine spays and neuters to complex operations, with precision and care.
- Provide emergency care for animals, including stabilization, resuscitation, and critical care management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Holds a valid veterinary license and any necessary state or national certifications.
- Has 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in various veterinary practices.
- Demonstrates a strong foundation in animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
