Serves as the Videographer, Senior for the Visual Information Support (VIS). Responsible for providing videographer services for TSC for Camp Arifjan/Buehring. 



Coordinates and participates in a variety of complex, technical tasks related to the operation of video and equipment, including but not limited to, filming and editing complete projects.  
Performs videotape recordings for a variety of special events.  
Edits recorded video and/or audio tape per event; may involve a rough edit of a linear event for approval or one-on-one editing with supervisor and management approval.  
Coordinates and/or assist with special public relations projects through effective marketing and communication tools. 
Prepares video materials for education and instruction used to support the ARCENT mission. 
Prepares files for output to DVD, receives and manipulates files electronically and maintains operating system on production machine. 
Travels to other bases in Kuwait in support of submitted video work orders. 
Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Computer, TS-MATS 

Indoor and/or outdoor environment.  
Standard work week will be six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day. May work 12-hour shifts as required. 
May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.  
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.   
Must have professional appearance consistent with US military customs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education/Certifications :
• BA and seven (7) years of related experience .
Experience :
• Requires minimum of three (5) years of Training Support Center or Visual Information Support Center experience in any branch of the US Armed Forces.
• Expertise in Adobe Premier (Final Cut/Avid)
• Requires three (3) years direct experience in the field of media production, videography, photography, graphics arts and/or digital imaging technology, including designing layout, con tent, and technical solutions. Work requires an understanding of the operation of video and audio equipment in order to coordinate and participate in recording and editing projects.
• Media layout and design experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of microcomputers, software applications and peripherals directly associated with video editing.
• Experience in the configuration, management and networking of file formats related to the production field.
• General knowledge of Digital Video Formats plug-ins, utility programs such as file compression, Pal to NTSC, PC to Mac, and Mac to PC conversion processes.
• Understanding of various software packages including Desktop Publishing, Flash, Front Page, Premier, and HTML, Final Cut Avid or similar applications.
• Familiar with DVD design and duplication.
• Requires some photography knowledge, including camera operation, lighting, and photo composition.
Required Qualifications:
• Must meet USCENTCOM physical / medical requirements.
• Must deploy to USCENTCOM training locations with austere living conditions.
• Experience in Public Affairs
• Experience in supervision of Foreign Nationals in support of Video projects
• Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multi-national staff, superiors , and ranking military officers .
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
• Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork is required.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload is required.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
• Ability to anticipate internal client needs is required.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications is required.
• High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately is required.
• Must have a valid US D river L icense, able to obtain a US Government Motor Vehicle Operator License and Kuwait Driver License.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to maintain USG network access.
