Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Integrate and maintain industrial cameras and sensor systems with stable acquisition and repeatable configurations.
  • Deliver actionable robot outputs: measurements, poses, confidence/quality metrics, and accept/reject logic.
  • Perform camera calibration and camera-to-world/robot alignment, including hand-eye calibration.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for image processing, detection, inspection, and sensor interpretation.
  • Validate perception systems in real-world conditions; troubleshoot issues such as lighting changes, vibration, or speed/accuracy constraints.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of setups, tests, and validation results.
  • Ensure production-ready, robust pipelines for downstream robotic execution.

Skills:

  • Strong experience in industrial vision and camera/sensor integration for stable, production-ready systems.
  • Expertise in 3D perception (depth sensors, ToF, point clouds) and reliable geometry/measurement generation.
  • Proficiency in calibration, coordinate transformations, and hand-eye alignment.
  • Programming skills in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in OpenCV; familiarity with point cloud tools is a plus.
  • Real-world debugging experience to diagnose drift, dropped frames, and environmental effects.
  • Mindset for quality gating and validation to prevent faulty data from impacting execution.
  • Bonus skills: sensor fusion, time alignment, GPU acceleration for perception/inference
