Serves as the Visual Information Support (VIS) Supervisor for the Training Support Center (TSC). Responsible for providing graphics, photography, videographer and printing services for TSC for Camp Arifjan/Buehring.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Directs a Plans, develops, and implements internal policies and procedures to govern daily operations of VIS.
Prepares and submits Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports as required to management.
Provides timely installation Visual Information support, photography and videography support, graphics, printing, audio-visual and sign and paint shop support.
Responds to Government request to reprioritize or cease work orders in progress.
Briefs US Government on equipment upgrades and provides recommendations.
Responsible for the submission of recurring CDRLs.
Maintains control and accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and contractor owned property for VISS.
Handles, protects, and process’ classified graphic work orders up to and including “SECRET”
Classifications to the technical extent possible in accordance with AR 380-5, AR 310-1, and AR 25 series as amended and supplemented.
Monitors the maintenance and serviceability operations for all equipment.
Monitors the operations of the VIS Work Order Desk.
Ensures compliance with all ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Indoor and/or outdoor environment.
Standard work week will be six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day. May work 12-hour shifts as required.
May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must have professional appearance consistent with US military customs.
