Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Build, Maintain and regularly update comprehencive library of product infromation
item masters, master files, pricing lists , comparitive pricing lists (vs Kuwait and Saudi) (Vs Miniso and Mumuso), images etc.
Responsible for creating item information on attributes (where ever required) and onboarding each item based on approved template and format.
Responsible for weekly sales and product analysis reports based on agreed formats.
Ensure new season/ occasion (Eid, christmas, back to school etc) product launches are delivered to stores on time and in correct quantities.
Monitor and update the dynamic replenishment model based on real time sales and trends (Minimum stocking quantities or minimum and maximum levels).
Mitigate regional store stock outs and overstock risks through proactive montiring and analysis and action.
Review sell-through weekly and propose actions for slow movers, liquidation
price changes, or consolidation etc.
Support VM teams by ensuring product availability for key displays and brand updates.
Define and monitor and implement pricing, promotional planning and inseason markdown strategies if needed
Collaborate and liase with store teams and warehouse for stock transfers, pricing and other product related innitiatives.
Maintian master files, item masters, and comprehencive information on all product related data.
Ensure regular store visits and monitor and update competitor stocking and pricing.
Gather information on customer preferances etc.
Liaise with suppliers, logistics, warehouse, and store teams to ensure smooth product flow.
Desired Candidate Profile
Provide data and assist in listing on marketpalces and online partners . Conduct regular checks of data on line to ensure correct and accurate representation of price and stocks. Analyse margins, plan markdowns and implement in the system.
"Should have atlest 2 - 3 years previous experience in retail merchandising or planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment."
English is a must .
Proficiency in using merchandise planning software and Microsoft Excel/ macros etc. Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and data tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards). Familiarity with retail ERP/MIS systems and reporting tools.
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, or a related field.
