Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Generic Accountability:
Digital Strategy & Vision Leadership
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define and champion the multi-year Digital Channels, Product, and Technology Roadmap aligned with the bank's overall business objectives and C-level strategies.
- C-Level Participation: Actively participate in C-level executive discussions, influencing corporate strategy, resource allocation, and budget decisions to ensure digital initiatives are prioritized.
- Budget & Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the multi-million dollar digital budget, resources, and project portfolio, ensuring maximum return on investment and strategic alignment.
- Digitization: Lead comprehensive, end-to-end digitization efforts across the bank, transforming traditional processes into seamless digital customer and employee experiences.
Digital Product Management & Innovation
- Product Strategy: Drive the strategy, conceptualization, development, and launch of market-leading digital banking products and services (mobile, web, and emerging channels).
- AI Strategy: Develop and execute the AI strategy for digital channels, integrating generative and predictive AI to enhance customer experience, personalize offerings, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Portfolio Management: Establish and mature the digital product development and portfolio management function, utilizing agile methodologies to manage the lifecycle from ideation through delivery and optimization.
Technology Governance & Delivery
- Delivery Oversight (Delivery Director Role): Provide hands-on leadership and governance for the delivery of major digital projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet defined quality standards.
- Technology Fluency: Possess a strong technical understanding of core banking systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, data architecture, and emerging technologies relevant to digital channels.
- Project Governance: Implement and enforce robust project governance frameworks, risk management practices, and quality assurance processes across the digital portfolio.
Team & Resource Leadership
- Resource Management: Effectively manage and develop a large, high-performing team of product managers, designers, technologists, and delivery specialists.
- Cultural Transformation: Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement within the digital organization.

Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in digital banking, technology, and product management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership or executive capacity.
Industry Focus: Proven track record in the Financial Services industry, specifically within digital channels (retail and/or corporate banking).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to interact, influence, and negotiate effectively with C-level executives and board members.
Technical Expertise: A proven good understanding of technology and its application to solving complex business problems (e.g., microservices, cloud, data analytics, AI/ML).
Delivery Track Record: Extensive experience serving as a Delivery Director or similar role, successfully managing and delivering large, complex technology and product portfolios
